Apportioned Truck First Issued: 1974 Issued in place of truck or combination license plate to a motor carrier in this state who proportionally registers a vehicle owned by the carrier in one or more other states. Validated with cab card. |

City Bus First Issued: 1948 Buses used in a city carrying paying passengers. However, if such a bus is owned or leased by the city, it may carry an Exempt plate. Available as: Personalized (first issued ????) |

Combination First Issued: 1972 Issued for a truck or truck-tractor that has a manufacturer's rated carrying capacity of more than one ton; and is used or intended to be used in combination with a semitrailer that has a gross weight of more than 6,000 pounds. Farm Trailer First Issued: 1961 Required for a farm trailer or farm semitrailer with a gross weight of more than 4,000 pounds but not more than 34,000 pounds that is used exclusively to transport agricultural products, livestock, or farm supplies. Farm trailers under 4,000 lbs. do not require registration. |
